What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Fiddlers Creek Management Inc?
POSITION PURPOSE:
Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the bar area by providing prompt, efficient and courteous service to members and guests and assist other personnel as needed; contribute to the overall positive member and guest experience at the resort.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- One-year previous experience as a bartender.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Responsible Vendor and Food Handler Certificates.
- Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other associates of the organization effectively.
- Fluent in English (read, write, and speak).
- Work under pressure and handle difficult situations.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Deal with customers in a professional manner with patience, tact, and diplomacy.
- Exemplary customer-service orientation and outstanding hospitality skills.
- Full and open availability to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS – ABILITY TO:
- Grasp, lift, push/pull, carry or transport up to 50 lbs.
- Push/pull wheeled carts weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Stand and walk for length of scheduled shift.
- Perceive the nature of sounds at a normal speaking level and make fine discriminations in sound.
- Visual acuity to determine accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
- Withstand a moderate noise level in the work environment.
