First United Bank is accepting applications for a Full Time Facilities Coordinator to join our team.
The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for performing general maintenance on bank building equipment and building structures, provides branch maintenance support, and leads maintenance projects for all First United Bank locations. This position provides support and assistance with branch security and information security related tasks. Keeps management well informed of area activities and maintains all related records.
Duties:
Facilities Management
- Maintains and oversees the bank’s grounds, buildings, and equipment to ensure safety and functionality
- Responds to the day-to-day maintenance for all FUB building equipment, fixtures, and structures
- Performs minor maintenance repairs for all FUB branches and offices
- Oversees service and maintenance vendors performing work at FUB branches and offices for larger maintenance issues
- Schedules routine inspections and repairs with outside vendors
- Assists all FUB branches with building maintenance projects
- Assist Marketing Department and other FUB Departments with setting up bank related events occurring in FUB branches and external of FUB branches
- Assist FUB Managers with moving and relocating heavy items from areas
- Responsible for weekly, monthly, and yearly maintenance of FUB owned trucks and trailers
- Oversee janitorial services for FUB branches and offices
- Prepares facilities and works with vendors prior and during weather condition changes
- Be available for on-call work to respond to maintenance issues for all branches and locations
- Collaborates with branch and Executive management on annual budgeting for facilities
- Participate in job specific training, various bank training programs, and comply with and all bank policies and procedures
Branch Security Support
- Responsible for monitoring quarterly inspections of branch security devices (alarms, panic buttons, DVRs, fire alarms, cameras, ATM lighting)
- Works with Branch Security Officers in maintaining authorized users for alarm panels
- Schedules annual fire alarm and fire extinguisher testing and inspections for all FUB branches and offices
- Manages and administers branch security systems (physical, fire, burglar) for all FUB locations
- Be available for on-call work to respond to break-in alarms for the Lubbock Operations Center
- Be available for on-call work to respond to fire alarms for all Lubbock FUB locations
- Oversee document shred and equipment recycler (for retired IT equipment) vendors
Information Security Support
- Assist the Information Security Officer with daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Assist the Information Security Officer with ad-hoc reports (as needed)
- Assist the Information Security Officer with various applications and projects (as needed)
Performance Measurements:
- Assigned work orders are completed effectively and timely. Problems are readily identified and resolved
- Assigned tasks and functions are completed in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
- Good working relations exist with users. Users’ concerns are promptly addressed, and problems effectively resolved
- Required reports and documentation are complete and current
- Management is appropriately informed of area activities and of any significant or recurring problems
- Good working relations exist with Information Technology personnel, department managers, branch management, bank Executives, and vendors
Qualifications
Skills/Qualifications:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Training in computer hardware, software, and basic networking
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
- General knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, irrigation systems, and HVAC systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
- Project management skills
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- One or more years of related building maintenance skills
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Able to work well independently
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to assist and train others
