What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marine Mechanic III position at Fisher Island Community Association Inc?
Description
- Performs preventive and routine maintenance on all vessels, trolleys, ramps and any other marine related equipment.
- Follow preventive procedures ordered by the manager or foreman.
- Perform in house repairs on main engines, generators, electrical, hydraulic and air systems.
- Report repairs needed or unusual findings to immediate supervisor
- Present professional attire at all times
- Maintain proper documentation of all maintenance, repairs and observations
- Follows preventive maintenance procedures
- Comply with all Fisher Island standards, policies and procedures.
- Communicate (read, write, speak) professionally
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Maintain working areas clean.
Requirements
- Hight School Diploma preferred
- Minimum of 1year experience with marine diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical and air controls.
- Good communication skills (speak, read, write English)
- Ability to multitask and work a flexible schedule
- Valid Driver License
- Neat appearance.
