Laser Operator

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Laser Engraving Operator to run and maintain computerized laser systems used to engrave microscopic cell structures into ceramic-coated anilox rolls. This is a critical final step in the production process before products ship to customers. Safety, precision, and efficiency are top priorities.

Hours: Mon-Thur 4:15pm - 2:45am

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate laser engraving equipment
• Use dial indicators and precision tools to ensure alignment and quality
• Polish and inspect rolls to meet exact specifications
• Load/unload rolls using overhead crane or manually
• Maintain accurate computer input and job tracking
• Keep work area clean and follow all safety procedures
• Assist with engraving setups, inspections, and changeouts
• Report maintenance or quality issues promptly
• Work overtime as required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong computer and math skills
• Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators)
• Ability to read blueprints and perform volumetric calculations (preferred)
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Safety-focused with strong attention to detail
