Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Controller Assistant located in Milpitas, CA. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Controller Assistant role will be responsible for financial statement preparation, financial analysis, budgets and forecasts in line with corporate policies and processes and legislative requirements in order to ensure financial reporting analysis and forecasts support business strategy and decisions. What a typical day looks like: Coordinate and oversee the financial aspects of the Milpitas manufacturing Site. Prepare Business Unit forecast Rev / VAM, Opex, Inventory, Customer P&L and all elements of PL, Cashflow, Balance sheet forecast preparation, BPC inputs and timely report out. Business Partner and lead the Site Fixed vs Variable Model forecasting, Actuals and Report out with commentary. Prepare and timely report out of Manufacturing Overhead costs to cost center owners on all aspects of the financials. Will be heavily involved and engage in Credit limit and Credit Exposure management, Cash Flow projections, and management of Cash. Review and engage with Interco, AP and AR teams on Payments and collections as per Sox controls. Oversee the activities of the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable department to ensure the accurate and timely management of all Accounts Receivable aging components including billings, cash receipts application, accounting treatments in unique cases. Responsible for inventory recon review and E&O related JE preparation in conjunction with GBS. Drives the yearly insurance process in Risk console Will work closely with Fixed Asset team on Capital Expenditure responsibilities and follow up. Establish and maintain systems and controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the Company's value, including complying with the requirements of the Sarbanes Oxley Act. Prepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations. Oversee the activities of the Accounting Department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, 12 month rolling forecasts and annual audits. Review company financial statements and assigned GL accounts for P&L and Balance sheet for accuracy and clarity and flux analysis. Responsible for Qtrly Doc Audit and monthly Cycle counting activities. Prepare and timely report out to cost center owners on all aspects of the responsibility Other adhoc projects as assigned by the Finance Director, Finance management and site management In-depth knowledge of Baan and BPC is required. The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Bachelors Degree Requires a minimum of 8-10 years of related experience. Demonstrates advanced functional and technical skills and basic people and/or process management skills. Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site. Good communication skills Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
