Distribution Coordinator/Receiver

Requirements:

• Ability to use computers with basic skills, including working within Global
• Have a positive team-based attitude in line with FoodScience Fundamentals
• Always looking for continuous process improvement opportunities.
• Self-Motivated who can work with minimum supervision
• Be able to obtain and maintain a Food Science Forklift certification.

Essential Duties:

• Shipping Duties
  • Picks and packs product accurately while following specific directions on pick tickets and meets order processing accuracy standards. Processes SO within Global and arranges shipping with carriers as required
  • Uses “First in and First out” when picking products
  • Maintains an organized, clean work area with an emphasis on safety that meets company standards
• Receiving Duties
  • Receives deliveries on site, including verification of item numbers, quantity, and material quality, and properly stores inventory.
  • Processes receipts in Global correctly, and puts away in organized manner per overall site storage plan
• Warehouse
  • Loads and unloads trucks as required.
  • Stores/Moves materials, including inter-site transfers and organizes warehouse per overall site storage plan and direction of supervisors
  • Gathers and delivers materials required to production per work order requirements, and properly stores (or ships) materials upon completion of workorder by production.
  • Assists the Inventory coordinator and Site Leadership in performing cycle counts as required, maintaining inventory accuracy by researching discrepancies and making adjustments with proper backup documentation.
• Overall Responsibilities
  • Maintains excellent communication with colleagues and works with others to foster a positive team environment
  • Responsible for GMP and quality of product
