Responsibilities
- Design Substation Relaying and Metering systems, including drawings and material lists.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., NERC).
- Analyze relay misoperations and events.
- Develop SCADA point lists and communication configurations.
- Assist with relay settings, troubleshooting, and technical support.
- Create reports and ensure project compliance.
- Attend meetings and adhere to safety policies.
- Knowledge of substation relaying, metering, AutoCAD, SEL software, and SCADA systems.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred.
- EIT or PE certification preferred.
- Office-based with occasional fieldwork and travel.
- Safety-sensitive position requiring mental alertness.
