Consultant, IT - Strategic Sourcing Manager, Pharmaceuticals
Responsibilities:
- Supporting business leaders within the Information Technology pillar
- Responsible for working the various end-to-end strategic sourcing processes; including RFX initiatives, market assessments, contract negotiations, SOW development, and vendor relationship oversight.
- Aligning with planning and launch of major RFX events and assisting team in an organized evaluation and selection process.
- Participating in the identification and selection of vendors through respective RFX processes
- Review, Modify, and Create Statements of Work “SOW” to establish SLAs, KPIs, and other requirements to ensure vendors’ performance and ongoing tracking of all SOWs for related vendors.
- Analyze the supply market and procurement data to support category strategies
- Collaborating with Procurement Operations (P2P), Requestors of Service (ROS), Legal Affairs & Vendor Management Office (VMO) as needed related to contracting, preferred supplier programs, supplier performance/issue escalations & general policies/procedures.
- Strategic Vendors On-Boarding: Assist the business in the transition to a new vendor.
- Monitor and oversee projects to ensure activities are occurring, including scope, budget and schedule, etc; while also identifying potential pitfalls such as missed deliverables/ budget discrepancies
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Finance or Business discipline preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of business experience in strategic sourcing/vendor management domain within the Information Technology vertical
Required Skills Include:
- Working experience in pharmaceuticals preferred
- Strong competencies within strategic sourcing domain-specific activities
- Excellent computer skills including SAP Ariba & Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel).
- Strong analytical, communication & presentation skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
Term & Start
- 9 month contract – option to extend.
- Start 2 weeks from an offer.

- Hybrid –Princeton, NJ - 1-2 days per week commitment.
