Responsibilities
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify and target fleets and semi-truck dealerships for potential business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within fleets and semi-truck dealerships.
- Understand clients’ needs and challenges to tailor solutions that align with their business goals.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations to showcase our asset disposition services and highlight their benefits.
- Negotiate terms and contracts to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership with clients.
- Work closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless implementation of asset disposition services.
- Provide feedback and insights to improve service offerings based on client feedback and industry demands.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Track and report on sales metrics, providing regular updates to the management team.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to asset disposition in the transportation sector.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the transportation industry.
- Strong understanding of the transportation industry, especially fleets and semi-truck dealerships.
- Familiarity with asset disposition processes and challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs effectively.
- Proactive and creative in identifying opportunities for business growth.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
