We are in search of a Banquet Set-Up Supervisor to join our Grand team at our 1,300 acre Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. About the role
Grand Geneva is looking to add some muscle to their Banquets team! Be part of our vast array of celebrations and "set the stage" for our guests! You'll lead a team to turn empty rooms into show ready venues.
What will you be doing?
- Develop and implement sustainable training and development programs in order to ensure efficient, competent and professional service delivery.
- Assist and supervise banquet set-up staff and ensure all tasks are completed.
- Inspect storage facilities.
- Develop working relationships with vendors and suppliers who provide services to groups and associations.
- Complete visual inspection and maintenance of banquet and meeting space and condition of equipment.
- Install phone lines in meeting rooms.
- Maintain condition and cleanliness of work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
* Ability to comprehend and communicate in English in order to provide service as requested by managers, staff and guests.
