Great Plains Manufacturing, is seeking a 2nd Shift Quality Assurance Inspector for our Salina Facility.
This position works Monday-Thursday 3:00p.m. to 1:30 a.m., plus overtime on Fridays as required.

Great Plains Manufacturing, is seeking a 2nd Shift Quality Assurance Inspector for our Salina Facility.
This position works Monday-Thursday 3:00p.m. to 1:30 a.m., plus overtime on Fridays as required.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Review manufacturing processes throughout the facility to ensure a quality product
- Identify defective parts in each department and address as needed
- Troubleshoot causes of defects and make recommendations for changes
- Inspect equipment to confirm proper welds, paint and fasteners
- Interpret Engineering blueprints to ensure product meets specifications
- Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment.
- Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
- Experience understanding proper welds, paint and fasteners
- Ability to read and understand engineering prints
- Demonstrate working familiarity with precision measuring tools
- Ability to communicate accurately both written and verbal
- Thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Excellent organizational skills
- Highly self-motivated with great interpersonal skills
- Previous experience as a QA Inspector in a manufacturing environment helpful
