This role supports diagnostic testing while ensuring patient confidence, specimen integrity, and strict adherence to quality, safety, and confidentiality standards.Primary Duties & Responsibilities• Perform daily phlebotomy activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures.• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing with skill and precision.• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies.• Ensure a safe, professional, and patient-centered environment at all times.• Demonstrate leadership behaviors with strong attention to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.• Promote a positive organizational image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.Skills & QualificationsRequired Skills• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.• Strong customer service and communication skills.• Keyboarding and data entry proficiency.Preferred Skills• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment.• Medical assistant or paramedic training.Additional Requirements• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as required.• COVID-19 vaccination required.Education & Experience• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.• Certification: Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).• Experience:– Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required.– One (1) year of phlebotomy experience preferred.Benefits• Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans• 401(k) Retirement FundAbout the CompanyOur client is a leading provider of diagnostic information services, empowering healthier lives through advanced testing and insights.
