This role provides coverage across multiple locations and care settings while delivering high-quality phlebotomy services, mentoring staff, and supporting operational excellence in high-volume and complex environments.Primary Duties & Responsibilities• Perform accurate and timely blood collection while following established procedures and safety standards.• Provide coverage across Patient Service Centers, mobile units, long-term care, in-office practices, and house calls.• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and ensure proper labeling, handling, and transport.• Lead and support on-site teams by acting as a coach, mentor, and resource for PSRs and new employees.• Assist with onboarding and training of new staff and provide feedback to supervisors or group leads.• Serve as a point of contact at assigned locations, ensuring daily operations are completed accurately.• Support high-complexity and high-volume practices requiring advanced phlebotomy and customer-facing skills.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Lab Services, IT, Billing, and Logistics.• Maintain accurate records and documentation while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.• Manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Skills & QualificationsRequired Skills• Expert phlebotomy skills, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.• Strong leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving abilities.• Ability to work independently while supporting and directing others.• Excellent verbal and written customer communication skills.• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high-volume workloads.Preferred Skills• Experience working in PSC, IOP, mobile, or long-term care environments.• Customer service experience in retail or service-based settings.Additional Requirements• Flexible availability to support multiple locations and extended hours.• Proficiency with keyboard and data entry systems.Education & Experience• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.• Preferred: Medical assistant or paramedic training.• Certification: Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).• Experience:– 5 years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.– Minimum 3 years in a PSC/IOP environment preferred.Benefits• Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans• 401(k) Retirement FundAbout the CompanyOur client is a leading provider of diagnostic information services, empowering healthier lives through advanced testing and data-driven insights.
