Description
The Repair Site Coordinator assists in on-site project completion for repairs in King County, working directly with Repair Site Managers, AmeriCorps members, homeowners, and volunteers to ensure a safe and productive job site.
Essential Functions
- With Senior Repair Operations Manager (SROM) and Repair Site Manager (RSM), ensure that projects are well-planned and executed, with attention to detail, safety, and respect.
- Ensure appropriate materials and tools are mobilized to site safely and stored in a secure manner.
- While a project is in process, assist in communication between homeowner and project manager.
- Provide instruction and direction to AmeriCorps members, homeowners, and volunteers on repair techniques and tasks.
- Maintain vehicles and tools with utmost detail and regard.
- Track and submit expenses in a timely and accurate manner, according to required processes.
- Actively pursue comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of residential construction techniques, methods, and applicable codes, with innovation and efficiency in mind.
- As a representative of Habitat in the community, engage respectfully with neighbors, promoting and creating awareness of the program to potential partner families, donors, and advocates.
- Participate in weekly safety meetings and monthly team/department/affiliate meetings.
- Participate/assist in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Minimum Education and Experience
- BA/BS degree in related field (preferred, but not required)
- Minimum 2 years of construction experience and enjoy working in a team environment.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business documents, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from homeowners, volunteers, agencies, or the business community. Ability to interpret bids and contracts.
Math Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to use tape measure and communicate measurements.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: Strong technological skills required, including use of smart phones and tablets, and ability to use project management tools and MS/Google Suite. Ability to read and modify spreadsheets.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
- Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Certifications in the following, training to be provided by Habitat if needed:
- Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Certification
- OSHA 10 minimum

- The employee is required to talk and must be able to read.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Extensive keyboarding is required.
- The noise level in the office environment is usually moderate consisting of usual business office sounds including but not limited to computers, printers, telephones, and light foot traffic.
- The employee needs the mobility (with or without accommodation) to navigate construction build sites safely, with exposure to outdoor weather conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, and near moving mechanical parts. Must be able to climb and carry ladders safely.
- The noise level at the repair site may be loud, due to machinery, power tools and construction activities.
Salary : $26 - $29
