Doctor of Chiropractic

Job Summary:

Chiropractic is a crucial position in our outpatient orthopedic, multidisciplinary facility. This position is key for the assessment and evaluation of patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain, and other health conditions as they relate to spinal health.

Essential Duties:

• Evaluate the patient's functional status, spinal health and physical rehab needs
• Collaborate with the other providers in the development of an effective and focused treatment plan of care for all patients under your care.
• Identifies patience goals and needs
• Creates fitness and wellness oriented programs tailored to patients specific needs where needed
• Deliver treatments and interventions aimed at improving and enhancing the patient's well-being
• Evaluate the patient's progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
• Motivate patience during treatment in order to help them obtain optimal function
• Promote clients' healthy lifestyle by improving overall health, strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and pain management
• Observe and reports the patient’s response to treatment and any changes in his/her condition to the other providers also treating the same patient
• Document patient care services and outcomes throughout the treatment
• Prepare a written discharge summary and/or a written summary report on patient’s condition at least every 60 days
• Follow clinical guidelines and protocols when implemented

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Excellent Microsoft office suite knowledge and skills

· Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and listening

· Excellent attention to detail

· Ability to effectively establish and maintain relationships both internally and externally

· Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities, ages and issues

· Displays compassion with patients

· Excellent dexterity and physical stamina

· Creative thinking

Licensure Requirements:

· Active state of Colorado license in Chiropractic

· Active state of Colorado license in Acupuncture (Not Required)

· Current CPR certification required

Education / Experience:

· Doctor of Chiropractic Degree

· Active knowledge in rehabilitation practices

· Member of the Colorado Chiropractic Association a plus

· Experience in:

o Rehabilitation

o Massage Therapy - a plus. Not required

o Acupuncture – a plus. Not required

o Regenerative Medicine - a plus. Not required

o Neuropathy - a plus. Not required

Compensation and Benefits:

· Projected salary range: $40/hour - $55/hour

· Benefits package, includes:

· The company, in its sole discretion, may modify the above benefits package
