We are Hiring! A School-Based Clinician to join The Family Center team, working within the students’ school setting at our Rye and Pueblo schools, with the flexible option to work through your summer or take your summers off.
What You would Be Doing
As a School-Based Clinician with our Family Center, you would be a vital member of a team that works within the students’ familiar school environments to promote healthy youth. Your collaborative work with school staff and other community resources would further enhance the overall wellbeing of the students, their families, and our community both now and in the future.
Specifically, the School-Based Clinician
- Provides intake and assessment, including professional interpretation and clinical analysis to develop a treatment plan.
- Provides individual, family and/or group therapies.
- Provides case management services, collaborative and integrative services with resources in the community.
- Provides emergency services/crisis evaluation to school aged youth.
- Keeps accurate, complete, and up-to-date records with 100% compliance with Center standards.
- Maintains competency and proficiency with Health Solution’s Electronic Health Record.
- Provides consultation and education services.
- Works in collaboration with the school-based wellness center staff.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned by a Program Director or Supervisor.
- Physical requirements include the following:
- Requires standing and sitting for prolonged periods of time.
- Requires occasional walking.
- Occasionally lifts and carries items up to twenty pounds.
- Requires working under stress in emergency situations.
- Requires occasional driving, at times in adverse weather conditions.
- Requires frequent use of a computer.

Qualifications
What We are Looking For—The Must-Haves
- Graduate degree in couseling, social work, or a closely related field
- Colorado professional license (i.e., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or license eligible
- Must be willing/able to obtain candidate status with DORA within 2 weeks of hire date.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency and experience with electronic health records.
- Colorado driver’s license and access to transportation during work hours
What We would Like to See in You—The Nice-to-Haves
- At least one year of mental healthcare experience treating children/adolescents.
- Spanish language skills
