Job Summary:
We have an opportunity for a Credit Analyst. We are looking for a team-oriented, results-driven professional with a strong sense of ownership and process improvement. The role will maintain accounts receivable in accordance with established policies, practice,s and procedures in a manner that will result in sound receivables and prompt conversion into cash with a minimum of past due balances and bad debt loss.
Essential Functions: The Credit Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Reviewing reports for delinquent accounts.
Contacting customers regarding payments.
Forward and follow-up deductions with Customer Service and Quality.
Work with the sales department to involve sales reps when needed to resolve problem accounts.
Set up and maintain customer records.
Run D&B reports and send references for new customers.
Establish and maintain credit limits with authorized levels for new and established customers.
Ensure that all the company's financial practices, policies, and records are in compliance with corporate policies statutory regulations, and legislation, including Sarbanes-Oxley.
What You Bring (Qualifications):
High School Diploma required
Associate degree with an emphasis in accounting preferred
In lieu of an Associate degree, 3 years of credit experience, preferably working with customers and distributors in a manufacturing environment.
