We are looking for a team-oriented, results-driven professional with a strong sense of ownership and process improvement. The role has a diverse range of influence that includes functional financial responsibility within the North American headquarters for financial reporting.Essential Functions:Preparing journal entries and assisting with monthly close processesPerforming account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accountsPosting monthly, quarterly, and yearly accrualsReviewing and recording accruals related to company's credit card policies.Assisting in preparing monthly internal financial statementsPerforming monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with auditsContributing to the development and review of annual budgets and performance projectionsPreparing ad hoc financial reports and analysisAssisting Finance Manager as neededSuccess in this role will require:Ability to analyze and account for intercompany activityCapability to analyze and maintain general ledger accrualsAbility to analyze cash activity and prepare bank reconciliationsBeing able to gather data for preparation of monthly financial statementsAbility to prepare journal entries and run GL reports in ERPUnderstanding of budget preparation processUnderstanding of month-end closing processWhat You Bring (Qualifications):Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university1 years of experience of accounting experience preferredProficient using Microsoft Office software packageExcellent Microsoft Excel skillsThe ability to travel (drive/air) domestic and internationalMust have a valid driver's license, with an acceptable driving record, along with adequate insurance
