Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Product Data Operations Manager, the Product Data Specialist is responsible for collecting data, assessing, and ensuring media integrity, writing technical data information, and maintaining data within HellermannTyton’s standards for consistency. This position will work with Product Management, Marketing/Communications and Engineering to provide accurate and up-to-date data to be maintained within the master data management system (Stibo.) The Product Data Specialist will ensure that all data, images, and additional website content is up to date. This will be achieved by maintaining HellermannTyton's IATF16949/ISO9001 Quality and ISO14001 EMS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions and required documentation.
Essential Functions:
Lead content development including charts, tables, and misc. data used on websites and printed literature by utilizing resources in Product Management and other departments.
Ensure product information is written in a consistent manner across product lines across databases.
Complete Item master load sheet contents for entry into cross media publishing system (CMP) and obtain Product Manager approval.
Act as backup for importing and exporting information from CMP.
Obtain content for HT Website through various resources.
Ensure all product information is up to date and accurate
Complete miscellaneous changes to existing product data.
Work with marketing to update the company website with the latest images, content, and datasheets.
Support with distributor requests as needed.
Other Functions:
Work with Product Managers with catalog/literature development for attribute selection.
Assist in publication structure creation and development.
Actively maintain image processing for CMP
Arrange photo shoots so that each part is accompanied by the correct images.
Special marketing projects as assignedQualifications (skills, knowledge, experience):
BA/BS from an accredited four-year college.
Minimum of one year writing experience through work or internship preferred.
High level of data and software systems aptitude.
Exceptional knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Working knowledge of print and web production.
Consistently cheerful outlook.
Superior proof-reading skills.
Must have valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and adequate insurance
Must be able to travel internationally
