The Sports Management, Adjunct will be responsible for teaching courses
related to sports management at the college level The following courses are
available. Sports, Wellness & Society, Intro to Sports Performance
Measurement, Sports Sales, Ticketing Operations, Facilities & Event
Management and Athletic Coaching Methods. The successful candidate will
have a strong background in sports management and be able to effectively
communicate and engage with students.
Responsibilities:
Teach courses related to sports management
Develop and deliver course content
Assess student learning and provide feedback
Engage with students and provide support as needed
Participate in departmental meetings and activities
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in sports management or related field as defined
by Ohio Board of Regents’/Higher Learning Commission guidelines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage and motivate students
Knowledge of current trends and best practices in sports
management
Organizational, record-keeping, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of subject area.
Knowledge of educational theory and application.
Knowledge of learners and individual learning styles.
