The testing technical project manager will join a multidisciplinary team of engineers engaged in designing Holtec’s flagship nuclear reactor SMR-300 managed by SMR LLC, which is a subsidiary of Holtec International. Holtec International a global turnkey supplier of equipment and systems for nuclear, solar, geothermal, and fossil power generation sectors of the energy industry.

Specific areas of Responsibility:
- Support procurement process for nuclear grade components and engineering services. This includes defining scopes, goals, deliverables, resource allocation, timelines, and budget.
- Work closely with other project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of assigned projects are aligned and progressing smoothly.
- Provide engineering expertise and technical guidance throughout the project/procurement lifecycle.
- Maintain thorough documentation of project activities, including plans, designs, reports, and updates.
- Monitor project costs, manage budgets, and report on financial status.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Ensure all project activities meet or exceed industry standards, NRC regulations, and company quality guidelines.
- Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and changes in scope.
- Address technical issues and project challenges, providing solutions to keep the project on track.
- This position comes with 15% of travel.
Minimum technical qualifications:
- B.S. in engineering field; minimum 5 years of experience in commercial or navy nuclear with a strong understanding of engineering principles; strong leadership and collaboration skills; excellent technical writing, interpersonal and effective communication skills.
- Applicants must be eligible to work under 10 CFR Part 810.
- M.S. in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering; NQA-1 quality assurance experience, knowledge of U.S. NRC licensing processes; project management software proficiency
