Position Overview :
Seeking a highly motivated and talented Research Associate III to join a Flow Cytometry Core Team at a leading biopharmaceutical company. The successful candidate will contribute to the daily operations of the flow cytometry core laboratories, ensuring a high-functioning environment that meets the needs of therapeutic research areas, including oncology, inflammation, and virology. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting equipment, training and advising users, performing cell sorts, and assisting with various operational tasks.
Responsibilities :
- Perform instrument calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting, interfacing with field engineers as needed.
- Conduct multiparameter cell sorting, including setting up and optimizing conditions for specific assays.
- Share best practices in flow cytometry and provide guidance on panel design and optimization.
- Execute experiments to validate standard operating procedures for flow cytometry assays.
- Assist and train users in flow technologies, experiment design, and data analysis.
- Maintain clear and effective communication, both verbally and in writing.
- Support laboratory operations, including inventory management, reagent ordering, and booking platform oversight.
