The Inova Schar Cancer Institute is seeking a Full Time Clinical Research Specialist 1 to join their team.
Position Summary:
Assist investigators and research staff in the conduct of clinical research studies. Perform a variety of research, data, and clerical duties of a routine and technical nature to support the conduct of clinical research, under the direction of Service Line Research Manager and/or the clinical Principal Investigator (PI).
Job Responsibilities
- Assists in the preparation and submission of regulatory documents to the study sponsor and IRB, as required by the protocol and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the conduct and documentation of study visits and protocol-specific testing/interviews according to the study protocol.
- Assists the research team in completing case report forms accurately and according to the protocol.
- Completes study procedures, as relevant to training and certification.
Requirements for consideration:
Experience :
- Two years experience
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
