POSITION SUMMARY
The Server is responsible for assisting residents during mealtimes by taking orders, serving meals, and providing friendly and attentive service to enhance the dining experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
- Take meal orders accurately while considering their dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Serve meals promptly and courteously, provide refills as requested.
- Help residents as required by greeting, assisting them to their tables, serving meals and beverages promptly.
- Communicate effectively with all other culinary staff to coordinate meal service efficiently.
- Provide friendly and attentive service to enhance the dining experience.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and portion sizes to answer resident questions accurately.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with special events or other dining activities as needed.
- Supervisory Responsibility: None.
Qualifications
Qualification:

- Education & Experience:
- Prior experience in similar facility or food service preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Communicate effectively with all other culinary staff to coordinate meal service efficiently.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and portion sizes to answer resident questions accurately.
- Having positive and effective communication skills with residents and culinary team.
- Address any resident concerns or special requests promptly and courteously, ensuring their needs are met with care and attention.
- Provide friendly and attentive service to enhance the dining experience.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Understanding of basic food safety and sanitation principles.

Capability to remain calm and compassionate in challenging situations.
- Problem-solving abilities to promptly address concerns or complaints, with the ability to quickly pivot from one task to the next.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships.
- Standard Requirements:
- Must have sincere interest in providing quality and innovative care for seniors.
- Ability to understand the policies and procedures of the Community including emergency plans.
- Follow mandatory reporting requirements and Resident Rights.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Willingness to work assigned shifts, weekends, and holidays.

- Establish and maintain a customer-service/hospitality focused culture.
- Familiar with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Salary : $16
