Job Description
- Triaging patients using EMR system and assisting providers in exam rooms
- Patient communication: general instructions, biopsy result callbacks, pre-op/post-op instructions, checking messages from patients throughout the day and responding in a timely manner
- Maintaining biopsy log/sending certified letters
- Assisting with Mohs surgery
- Stocking rooms
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work well with multiple physicians and anticipate their needs regarding patient care.
- Must be friendly, punctual and able to multi task and perform a wide variety of patient care activities.
Additional Information
Job Type:
- Full-time
Experience:
- 1-2 years of medical assisting experience is required
- Dermatology experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Certifications/Licenses:
- Medical Assisting Certification is preferred
Salary
- Starts at $19.00 hourly and increases with years of experience
