Job description:
- Degree in chemistry or chemical engineering or related technical field
- 3 years of experience in R&D within medical device or pharmaceutical industries.
- Experience with new product development and sustaining project support.
- Experience with analytical instrumentation: HPLC-DAD, GPC, GC-MS, Karl Fischer, FT-IR, and UV-Vis.
- Experience of using chromatography software: Empower and Mass Hunter.
- Formulation and testing experience with adhesives, cyanoacrylates preferred.
- Experience in analytical test method development and validation.
- Experience with equipment qualification and troubleshooting.
- Experience using common electronic documentation software (e.g., MAP, Agile or equivalent).
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Solid oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

- Conducts exploratory research to produce new knowledge and potential products; conceives, organizes, promotes, and executes ideas and plans to increase chemistry's role in and contribution to the discovery and chemical approaches to meet exploratory objectives in product discovery.
- Develops research proposals to provide a technically and economically sound basis for developing and evaluating new or improved products, synthetic methods, processes, and analytical and physical testing techniques.
- Recommends utilization of the results or changes in the Product of work or termination of projects.
