Title : Medical Information Specialist

Location : Titusville, NJ - Hybrid Schedule (3 days onsite)

Duration : 11 months

Summary :

This position is for a frontline therapeutic specialist who will be responsible for engaging healthcare professionals across all therapeutic areas in rich clinical dialogue by responding to unsolicited medical inquiries.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide ad hoc customer support in the form of clinical discussions and / or literature search analysis.
  • Assist with omnichannel processing and daily reconciliation support.
  • Responsibilities also include compliance intake / reporting by identifying and documenting adverse event and / or product quality complaint(s).
  • Interact with business partners external to the Medical Information Scientific Engagement (MISE).

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of an advanced degree in Pharmacy (PharmD) is required with at least 2 yrs of experience
  • Demonstrated ability to verbally communicate scientific information to healthcare professionals
  • Experience managing complexity and ability to work independently
  • Excellent computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Excellent analytical skill to identify gaps and root causes of issues and think out of the box to develop a solution.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision to meet tight deadlines
  • Medical writing experience and proven ability to conduct literature searches
  • Experience developing responses to scientific inquiries from healthcare professionals and / or consumers
