Technician Associate

NOW HIRING a Technician Associate to work with a top Energy and Utility company in the Fort Wayne, IN area. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

JOB SUMMARY:

• This position utilizes DDS software to analyze distribution utility poles for the purpose of adding grid modernization equipment or line rebuilds associated with transmission and station projects.
  
  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Track due dates for assigned projects.
• Work with the design team and others like Project Managers or line coordinators to ensure designs are accurate and high quality.
• Supports all 4 Indiana and Michigan districts. Will require travel across service territory. Overnight travel would only come into play during a storm if asked to support damage assessment.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Civil/Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field.
• Ability to read and understand schematic drawings.
• Good computer software skills; quick learner
