- Conduct audits using basic hand tools such as calipers, pin gauges, and height indicators.
- Review drawings, process control plans, and product quality control plans during inspections.
- Remove or reject non-conforming products and communicate findings to Continuous Improvement teams.
- Prepare and maintain inspection and audit reports documenting results and outcomes.
- Support quality improvements by reviewing controls such as Poka Yoke and Jidoka.
- Assist with capability studies and Gage R&R studies.
- Perform random inspections to assess ongoing product quality.
- Support supplier quality inspections and ensure compliance with special customer requirements.
- Use digital quality tools and Excel to track data and optimize quality systems.
- Collaborate daily on the production floor with operators and engineers.
Top 3 Skills Needed:
- Tech-savvy with Excel and digital tools.
- Hands-on quality auditing experience on the production floor.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow and enforce quality standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience using basic inspection tools (calipers, pin gauges, height indicators).
- Ability to interpret blueprints, symbols, and geometric tolerances (military and commercial specs).
- Comfortable using computers, software, and automation systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to influence adherence to quality standards.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Why This Role Stands Out:
- Hands-on role with real impact on product quality.

- Ideal entry-to-mid-level quality role in a manufacturing environment.
