Position Title: MES Designer
Location: Greenville, NC (On-site)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled MES Designer to support manufacturing execution system (MES) activities, focusing on MBR (Master Batch Record) design, system integration, and validation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Rockwell MES, strong technical understanding of manufacturing environments, and a proven ability to support digital manufacturing solutions from design through implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Master Batch Records (MBRs) within the Rockwell MES platform.
- Perform system design verification and validation activities in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Integrate MES with shop-floor equipment, machines, and automation systems.
- Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to MES functionality or integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure successful MES deployment and operation.
- Ensure all system changes are documented according to change control processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience with Rockwell MES platforms (e.g., PharmaSuite, FactoryTalk ProductionCentre).
- Hands-on experience with MBR design and configuration.
- Strong understanding of equipment integration, automation systems, and data communication protocols (e.g., OPC, PLC).
- Experience in regulated environments such as pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing.
- Familiarity with GMP, GAMP5, and CSV (Computer System Validation) practices.
