What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Analysis Engineer position at Intellectt Inc?
Note: Occasional travel to Ft. Worth, TX required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analyses (stress, fatigue, deflection, vibratory) using hand calculations and FEA tools
- Interpret CAD drawings and evaluate components under various load conditions
- Document analysis results in technical reports and present findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams for design validation
- Support process improvement by creating templates, tools, and documentation
- Maintain project updates and ensure compliance with export regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- 8 years of structural analysis experience
- Proficient in hand calculations, FEA, and CAD
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred:
- Experience with ANSYS Workbench, SolidWorks/CATIA
- Background in aerospace and product design
- Familiarity with project management and documentation practices
