ITnova is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician to provide senior-level field service support and technical leadership for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of security and monitoring systems. This position leads field service activities, ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, and supports reliable operation of systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead and perform field installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of security and monitoring systems.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to Field Service Technicians.
- Support systems including:
- CCTV
- Access Control Systems
- Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems
- Emergency Call Systems
- Ambient Air Monitoring Systems
- Audio/Visual and related security systems
- Diagnose complex system issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct system testing and verification following maintenance or repair.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA general safety standards related to electrical and mechanical work in an industrial environment.
- Coordinate field activities with project managers, engineers, and customers.
- Ensure accurate documentation of service activities and system status.
- Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or another information technology-related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA general safety standards related to electrical and mechanical tasks in an industrial environment.
- Eight (8) years of experience maintaining and servicing security systems.
- Experience with CCTV, Access Control, Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems, Emergency Call Systems, Ambient Air Monitoring Systems, Audio/Visual, and related security systems.
- Experience leading or mentoring field service teams.
- Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and customer communication skills.
