Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
• Participate in all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and court appearances
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on complex cases
• Interact directly with clients, providing regular case updates and legal advice
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing with the Georgia State Bar
• 2-5 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting
• Strong academic credentials, including excellent performance in legal writing courses
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Experience with pre-trial procedures and courtroom appearances
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work product
