Personal Injury Attorney

In this role, you will see that our clients receive the best care and obtain excellent results. Attorneys are expected to meet with clients to discuss their case, show compassion and empathy, and demonstrate an ability to earn their trust, confidence, and respect. They will also update clients and communicate with insurance companies from time to time regarding the status of claims, demands, and offers. In addition, the Attorney should be able to prepare the case for trial and try the case if needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical case reviews and analyze complex legal situations
• Negotiate and settle cases effectively in both pre-litigation and litigation stages
• Thoroughly review policies, claims, and other relevant records
• Draft and argue persuasive legal documents, including memos, theories of liability, and demands
• Liaise with insurance companies to ensure proper management and billing of client medical treatment
• Provide regular, clear communication to clients regarding case status and progress
• Conduct thorough intake meetings with new clients, establishing strong attorney-client relationships
• Efficiently manage a diverse docket of cases in compliance with office policies
• Attend and conduct Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs), Examinations Under Oath (EUOs), and recorded statements
• Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism
• Adapt to additional duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
  
  

Qualifications

• Active bar admission in Ohio (required)
• Minimum of two years of experience in Personal Injury law
• At least one year of pre-litigation experience
• Minimum of two years of litigation experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency in legal research and case management software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
