Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our law firm. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation and have excellent skills in legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing for trial. The candidate will represent clients in various civil litigation matters and provide legal advice and guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in various civil litigation matters including contract disputes, torts, property disputes, and other civil matters
• Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to clients
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests
• Attend and conduct depositions, hearings, and mediations
• Prepare for trial, including developing case strategy and preparing witnesses
• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties
• Stay current with legal developments and case law relevant to civil litigation

Requirements:

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work under pressure
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
