Key Responsibilities
- Case Management: Lead all phases of civil litigation defense, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Legal Research & Writing: Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other critical legal documents.
- Client Interaction: Cultivate and maintain client relationships by providing regular updates, sound legal advice, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Court Appearances: Represent clients in court, handling pre-trial hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
- Document Preparation: Prepare, review, and finalize legal reports, contracts, briefs, and other essential documents.
- Settlement Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate settlements to achieve favorable outcomes while minimizing risks and costs.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Partners and team members to develop and execute effective case strategies.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation defense.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of managing litigation cases from inception to resolution.
- Experience in Employment and Labor Law, Personal Injury, Premises Liability, Product Liability, Construction Defects, Landlord/Tenant disputes, Contracts/Commercial matters, or General Litigation is a plus.
- Salary $120K-$185K BONUS
