We are seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated Commercial Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work on complex commercial litigation cases, providing expert legal advice and support to our clients. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities

As a Commercial Litigation Associate, you will be expected to

• Manage all aspects of commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
• Argue motions in court and represent clients during trials, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
• Consult with clients to provide legal advice and understand their objectives.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a comprehensive approach to case management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends relevant to commercial litigation.
• Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct and ethical behavior.
  
  

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial litigation.
• Demonstrated experience in arguing motions.
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and projects, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
