Position Overview We are looking for a seasoned and motivated Senior Commercial Real Estate Attorney to handle complex real estate transactions and matters for a wide range of clients. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale projects in commercial real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in real estate law, an ability to manage complex deals, and strong leadership skills. Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, development, and joint ventures.
Advise clients on complex real estate matters, including zoning, land use, title issues, environmental matters, and commercial lease negotiation and enforcement.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, lease agreements, purchase agreements, and other real estate-related documents.
Provide strategic advice and guidance to clients regarding real estate investments, portfolio management, and other commercial property-related decisions.
Manage and lead real estate transactions from inception to closing, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders such as lenders, developers, and government entities.
Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff, fostering professional development within the department.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to support the firm’s business development efforts.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
8 years of experience in commercial real estate law, including extensive experience with real estate transactions, leasing, financing, and development.
Proven expertise in handling complex real estate matters and providing strategic legal advice to high-profile clients.
Strong business acumen, including the ability to assess legal issues in the context of clients’ commercial objectives.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach.
Experience in mentoring and managing junior attorneys and legal staff.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
