We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our boutique litigation firm. Responsibilities
- Represent clients in all stages of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appeal.
- Develop and implement case strategies in consultation with clients and senior attorneys.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and legal arguments.
- Draft and review various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve disputes efficiently.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.
- Maintain detailed records of case proceedings and outcomes.
- Stay informed about current legislation and legal trends that may affect clients' cases.
- Work closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Participate in business development efforts, including networking events and client meetings.
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial or construction litigation, with experience conducting depositions.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing case strategies.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a proven ability to resolve disputes efficiently.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
- High level of professionalism, with a commitment to upholding legal and ethical standards.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
