The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of all aspects of litigation, from initial case evaluation through trial and appeal. The Litigation Attorney will be responsible for managing a case load, developing case strategies, and representing clients in court. We are seeking a dynamic Litigation Attorney to join our team. The Litigation Attorney will be responsible for managing a case load, developing case strategies, and representing clients in court. Responsibilities
As a Litigation Attorney, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to
- Managing a case load of complex litigation matters, including conducting initial case evaluations, developing case strategies, and representing clients in court.
- Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
- Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.
- Representing clients at depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Collaborating with a team of attorneys and support staff to ensure that all case matters are handled efficiently and effectively.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in civil litigation law and procedure.
- Providing superior client service, including maintaining regular communication with clients and keeping them informed about the status of their cases.
The ideal candidate for the Litigation Attorney position will have the following qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Florida state bar and in good standing.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation, with a proven track record of successful case outcomes.
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
- Ability to manage a large case load, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
