Our team is searching for a Property Accountant. This is a permanent position, offering the right candidate a chance to be part of a driven team of professionals in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment. The Property Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the accounting aspects of our real estate portfolio, which includes commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties.
Responsibilities
- Managing and executing all aspects of the day-to-day accounting operations for our properties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries,
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Conducting regular audits and reviews to verify the accuracy of financial data and procedures, identifying and correcting any discrepancies
- Collaborating with property management teams to develop budgets, forecast financial outcomes, and make strategic financial decisions
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in property accounting or public experience
- Proficiency in property management software, specifically Yardi or MRI
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate complex financial information in a clear and understandable manner.
