We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager for our thriving Manufacturing division. This role is pivotal to the success of our business and offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to the right candidate. The successful applicant will have a proven track record in sales within the manufacturing industry, specifically with a focus on plastics, aluminum, machine shop, metal, glass, ceramic, injection molding, molding, composite, and rubber.

Responsibilities

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our Manufacturing division. Key responsibilities include

• Developing and implementing strategic sales plans that expand the customer base and ensure the company's strong market presence.
• Managing a sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Partnering with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
• Effectively communicating the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
• Understanding category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift strategic markets.
• Developing a deep knowledge of our products and services, and how they serve our customers' needs.
• Collaborating with the production team to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximize profits.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role within the manufacturing industry, with a strong focus on plastics, aluminum, machine shop, metal, glass, ceramic, injection molding, molding, composite, and rubber.
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
• Demonstrable experience in negotiating and meeting clients' requirements.
• In-depth understanding of the manufacturing industry and its current events.
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and how they create value for clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
• Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity.
• Ability to prioritize among competing tasks.
