We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with a focus on month-end close processing, accurate bank reconciliations, and audit preparation. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your accounting skills, providing critical financial insight and strategic direction to our company.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
1. Overseeing the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
2. Performing accurate bank reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data.
3. Assisting in the preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
4. Knowledge of GAAP and GL accounting.
5. Assisting in the preparation of budget and financial forecasts.
6. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
7. Participating in special projects and performing additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including month-end close processing, bank reconciliations, and audit preparation.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
