Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Monthly Closing:
Perform essential monthly closing tasks, including the preparation and posting of standard journal entries in SAP.
Adhere to closing and financial reporting calendars to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines.
Accounts Payable Support:
Provide thorough support and analysis for plant-specific accounts payable matters, collaborating with Shared Services and requisitioners.
Manage purchase requisitions efficiently to meet operational requirements.
Balance Sheet Reconciliation:
Prepare and review analyses to ensure the proper reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, supported by comprehensive documentation.
Audit Support:
Assist in both internal and external audits to ensure compliance and provide necessary documentation.
Financial Analysis:
Collaborate with the Controller in variance and trend analysis, contributing to monthly expense reporting.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Support the Plant Controller in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Process Improvement and Automation:
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and automation to enhance efficiency.
Internal Controls:
Ensure the execution of all internal controls and maintain accurate documentation.
Inventory Management:
Assist in physical and cycle inventory counts as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
Undertake any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
CPA or relevant certification preferred.
years of experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in SAP and other relevant accounting software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
