Are you an experienced Collections & AR Strategist looking for a challenging role where you can make a significant impact? We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Collections & AR Strategist. This position will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by managing our accounts receivable and collections processes. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness in these areas, ultimately driving improvements in our cash flow and working capital.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Collections & AR Strategist, your responsibilities will include

• Developing and implementing strategies for managing accounts receivable and collections processes.
• Conducting B2B collections and negotiations to ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Performing account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Utilizing advanced Excel skills to analyze data, generate reports, and track performance.
• Applying cash applications to accurately record payments received.
• Collaborating with other departments to resolve billing issues and improve processes.
• Monitoring and reporting on key metrics related to accounts receivable and collections.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Providing guidance and support to junior team members, as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for the Senior Collections & AR Strategist position, you must have

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable and collections, including B2B collections and negotiations.
• Proven experience with account reconciliations and cash applications.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred).
