We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to join our team in the luxury building sector of the construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile, luxury apartment and multifamily projects, where you will have the chance to showcase your expertise and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a specific focus on new construction projects in the luxury market. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience and a commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of luxury building projects from inception to completion.
2. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring all parties understand the project scope and vision.
3. Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning.
4. Review and approve architectural and engineering drawings to ensure they align with project specifications and quality standards.
5. Conduct risk management to identify potential issues and implement solutions to mitigate any impact on the project.
6. Regularly liaise with clients, architects, and stakeholders to maintain open communication and ensure project alignment with client expectations.
7. Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
8. Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of proven working experience as a Project Manager, Construction Project Manager, or New Construction Project Manager in the luxury building sector.
3. Proven experience managing luxury apartments and multifamily projects.
4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
5. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
7. Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
8. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
9. Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications, and other documents.
10. A strong understanding of all facets of the construction process, including safety regulations and industry best practices.
