Requirements include Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration, strong technical skills, and solid work ethic. This is a Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, on-site opportunity.

Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts.
- Monitor financial details to ensure legal compliance.
- Supervise lower-level clerks, including bookkeepers.
- Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses.
- Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure prompt payment.
- Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency and use of accepted accounting procedures.
- Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems.
- Assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards of financial and operational information.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software programs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial data and information to non-financial colleagues.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is preferred, but not required.
