Job Summary:
Amazon Lab126 is an inventive research and development company that designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics. The Product Design Technical Program Manager will coordinate product definition, execution, test, and delivery while working closely with interdisciplinary teams and partners.
Responsibilities:
• Drive the team to meet PDP (Product Development Process) requirements
• Develop, maintain and manage task-based PD schedule
• Provide risk management and schedule optimization analysis
• Serve as the PD communication focal point with the Lab126 Core team, Overseas Partners and OEMs
• Drive and track enclosure material readiness for Engineering builds
• Manage BOM development and readiness
• Support through coordination of resources across Process Engineering Team initiatives
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
• 5 years of technical product or program management experience
• 5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
Preferred:
• 7 years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
• Mechanical Engineering Degree and 5 years of working directly with mechanical engineers
