Johnny Was is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Wholesale Sales Assistant to support our national wholesale team. This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations and long-term success of our wholesale business. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess strong communication skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This position reports to the Senior Sales Manager Position Overview: Account Support: Support Major and Specialty businesses Pull and analyze weekly and ad hoc sales, shipping, and performance reports Manage shipping reports, order allocation, and tracking Manage sample coordination and copy requests for major department store accounts, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy Communicate with buyers and vendors regarding orders, product availability, and general updates Market Support: Assist with pre-market preparation for both specialty and major accounts, including sample tagging, showroom setup, and sales materials -Maintain showroom presentation standards and ensure collections are properly merchandised Provide in-market support during Market Week, including appointment notetaking and client assistance Travel required to support other territories with market support Daily Operations Prepare and distribute weekly ATS reports Track and manage seasonal samples across teams and departments Oversee New York showroom operations, including sample handling, organization, and upkeep for seasonal market appointments Create and update virtual linesheets and sales tools Coordinate seasonal internal photoshoots Pay is based on multiple factors, such as qualifications/skills/experience, geography, and state and local wage laws. In addition, bonus and/or commission and benefits including healthcare, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and product discounts may be offered.
