What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Mechanic Lead position at Johns Hopkins Medicine?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Full range of duties associated with the maintenance, repair and inspection of healthcare facility utility systems and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations. Receives only occasional instruction or assistance as new or unusual situations arise and are fully aware of the operating procedures and policies within the Facilities Department. Receives general supervision from a Facilities Manager or Director. Exercises technical guidance over less experienced maintenance mechanics.
Work Hours: 5am-3:30pm
Work Location: St. Petersburg, FL
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of a High School diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievement.
- Ability to complete advanced equipment and system repairs and maintenance
- Effectively communicates with leadership and team members for the purpose of solving equipment or system related problems
- Ability to read and understand system schematics, drawings, diagrams and prints
